Redevelopment project of the Demiso and Defense grounds of Comiso in Ragusa, based on the recovery and re-use of the currently disused area and part of the buildings in disuse with the construction of an air cargo. The project has enabled the development of an innovative concept of air cargo defined as “smart” where advanced logistics, cargo research and innovation find their fulfillment. The project stems from the desire to rethink and develop the agri-food industry of Ragusa and the whole of Sicily and to know and distribute smartly the products and local peculiarities throughout the world through air cargo.
